As you can tell from the pictures I put up we have had a blast the past month. First we had our Brother Paul and Niece Alana up for a week, It was Alana's first time coming to see us since we lived in Manila so we wanted to show her how awesome her Tio Matias and Tia Misti could be...j/k We wanted her to have alot of fun so we planned a couple of day trips to take them on. First we just took a day trip down to Salt Lake and we went around Temple square and into the visitor centers and the new buildings around it. They had a Children's Museum type thing and they got to dress up and dance, (and yes Matias danced and dressed up too) and they got to go "fishing" and draw pictures and all sorts of cool stuff. They loved it. Then we figured since we were already in Salt Lake we would take them to the Living Planet Aquarium. It was Sayge's 2nd time and the rest of us have never been. It was so much fun. The girls loved petting the sting rays. Angelyse was even loving it. Then the next day we went to Bear World near Rexburg, Idaho. This would be our 2nd time there and we still loved every moment of being there. This time we actually went on the curator tour where we got to feed the bears. It was crazy! We went around the park so many times but it was so much fun. Then we came home that night and the next day we ended up going to Sweetwater County Fair for the day. We go to see Clay Walker in concert!! Seriously we had a blast! Then the next day we relaxed since Matias worked the next day. When we weren't taking our day trips we hung out in Evanston and went to where the buffalo and elk are and we walked around the river and we had a picnic. We had such a blast with them and we are glad they could come up and join us and go to all the places we planned on going this summer. Then last week we ended up going to Yellowstone. The girls went tothe Ranger Station and grabbed a packet that they had to complete to become a Jr Ranger. It took about a day and a half to complete it but in the end their hard work paid off and Sayge and Alexye became Jr Rangers. Matias and I are really proud that they stuck to it and earned their badges. Yellowstone was breath taking as usual and we saw so many elk it was crazy. Sadly no bears this time but we still loved it. Then off course between all this we have been having lots of get togethers with our friends. Our game nights are so much fun and we even learned a fun new card game. (Matias thinks he rocks at it but next time I will be sure to knock his ego down a peg or two..j/k) Anyways, We have done so much and had such a blast this summer its crazy to think it is already almost over. The girls start school on the 29th of August, so we have a little over a week left til summer ends and its back to getting into a routine. We have a lot to look forward to though, Angelyse turns 3 on September 9th we are going to take her to the hogle zoo, its crazy to think but she has never been to the zoo in Ut but she has been to the Buenos Aires zoo in Argentina and the Idaho falls zoo, and Breklyn is getting to the age where she is starting to do a lot of new and exciting things. My girls seem to grow a lot during the summer, Sayge and Alexye seem way more grown up and Angelyse is even trying to be as grown up as her older sisters and has been more independent than she used to be and Breklyn well our now 12 pound baby is growing way to fast! She has learned how to scoot herself in circles so she can see around the room. So as summer ends I know we can look back on it and say that we did so much stuff and we had an awesome time doing it. There are no regrets this summer and we are looking forward to the school year and everything that comes with it.
