Christmas at the Taliercio house.

We had a really good Christmas this year.  Christmas eve Matias had to work from 4pm to midnight so the girls and I watched movies and played games. I taught them how to play battleship. They had so much fun. We also decorated a cup and plate to put Santa's cookies on. They loved it. We made red snickerdoodles with green sprinkles. Before they went to bed we went outside and sprinkled reindeer food on the grass. We had been tracking santa all day so before bed we looked to see where he was then all 3 girls rushed to bed. Before Lex went to bed she told me I better get to bed before santa comes because if he didn't come because I was awake she would be mad.
Matias got home around 1:30am and I had everything all set up.
In the morning the girls got up and played in their stockings for a little bit before opening gifts. Ok the best part was watching Sayge open up her first gift... a Monster High doll. Thats all she has been talking about and the look on her face was priceless. I have never heard her squeal as loud as she did. I swear she was about to have a heart attack. It was awesome. Alexye wanted the barbie movie Princess Charm School and was so excited when she opened it. Sayge and Alexye also got a Fijit. Alexye got purple Sayge got pink. They loved them. They dance with them and everything.  They also got awesome Mp3 players. Listening to them sing while listening to them is comical. They don't realize how loud they are with headphones on.
Angelyse got a vmotion and also a handheld vsmile. Her and Breky got a power wheels convertible and they both love riding around in it. Breky got some Weebles which she plays with nonstop and a cute puppy that sings and plays games. Matias got a University of Wyoming sweater and some cute gifts from the girls and Matias got me a handmade jewelry box thats gorgeous. I also got a Miche bag from Eddie and Paul!! My dad and mom gave us a picture of the family so now I can put new pictures up. My Grandma B gave me a picture of my Grandpa Benson. That was one of my favorite gifts!  It was a really good morning. Then we had our friends over for Christmas dinner. Our Christmas was great. Even without all the gifts everyone got we had so much fun as a family and we have some awesome memories that will last longer than anything else. We really appreciate all of our families and friends for making this Christmas season special!

Holidays so far..

I know it's been awhile since I posted last so I will just give a short update of what we have done so far...

We had a Halloween party at Chad's house with their family and mom and dad and Grams and Danny. The girls had a lot of fun. We went to pumpkinland at Vineyard Garden and the kids had a blast running around the maze and seeing the animals. Then we went back to Chad's house and hung out and played bingo. It was a lot of fun. Then for Halloween my mom and dad came up so we got the girls all ready. Sayge was a Vampire Queen and Alexye was a witch and Angelyse was also a witch and Breklyn was a pumpkin. We went down town and trick or treated then we went to a stake trunk or treat then to a bunch of houses. We ended up at Brenden and Kelsi's at the end of the night. Halloween was great!

For Thanksgiving we were able to make it down to Arizona and it was so much fun! One of the first days we got there mom and Melia and I went to an afternoon showing of Breaking Dawn.... can I just say it was AWESOME!!!! After that Sayge and Alexye went to play at Tia Meli's house and Matias, Paul, and I took Breklyn and Angelyse to get their ears pierced! Yes there were some tears but they didn't last too long. Then we went to Melia's house and hung out. That night Matias and I went on a double date with Paul and Eddie. We went to a buffet at Casino Arizona....the food was to die for...especially  the desserts that we lined the table with. We had a blast. The whole week was great. The girls went swimming at Pam's twice and we got to hang out and have dinner with them. We loved it. On Thanksgiving I got to see my Uncle Greg, Aunt Leslie, Aunt Kristy, and Uncle Juan and my cousins that I have not seen in years. It was so nice to be able to catch up with all of them. Then we had Thanksgiving dinner and hung out with family and planned black friday...or basically black thursday since it started at 9pm. We went shopping with Pam and Meli. It was crazy fun! Then we all recovered on friday. Saturday we went to the zoo with Meli, Jason, Amanda, and dad. It was so hot. I guess we were so used to the cold weather. We love the Phoenix zoo. Then it was off to take family pictures! Pam is an amazing photographer. I love how our pictures turned out. We also went to the Mesa Temple to see the lights. Its been a couple years since we have gone. It was just as good as i remember. We had a really good time down there. I didn't want to leave. Thanks everyone for the great Halloween and Thanksgiving!!

8 yrs and counting.

8 years ago I made the best decision I have ever made and I married the best man in the world. In the past 8 yrs Matias has listened to me cry, we have yelled at each other (well I yell Matias does the whole silent treatment thing), we have spent moments not talking to each other and we have spent a lot of the time disagreeing with each other (although I am the one who is ALWAYS right...j/k) We have eaten burnt dinners together, gotten through sick children and 4 hard pregnancies together, we have had to endure losing loved ones, we have moved a lot, and we have gone through a lot of trials together, but most of all the past 8 years we have laughed together, completed our family by having 4 beautiful girls, spent holidays together, played a lot of games, gone sledding, taken trips together, gone on walks, played around with the girls, we have gone through first days of school and a lot of school programs and many more little adventures and we have LOVED every minute of it all. The good, the bad and the just plain ugly. Every moment got us to where we are today and I would not change a thing!! We were meant to be with each other and I am so excited to be celebrating 8 yrs with the most amazing guy that is the perfect match for me.

How could it not be when you have awesome family and friends like ours!

Things are going really good for us in the Taliercio household. Sayge and Alexye are still loving school. They go in at 7:30am for a before school reading and math program and they don't get home til 5:15pm because of an awesome after school program that lets them take different classes, like cooking, computers, World travel, and lots of other fun stuff. The girls really love it. Sayge is doing amazing!! She can't get enough of school. She is doing great reading and math... better than I ever did with math. Thankfully Matias is there to help her with math homework or when he is not available thank goodness Kelsi is around..haha. Sayge is also doing great in speech the only sound she has to work on is her "r" sound. Oh and good news... it looks like Sayge will have her front teeth sooner than we all thought it looks like they are coming down. I am so excited..and of course so is Sayge. It is going to be weird seeing her with teeth she will look and sound completely different. It has been about 4 to 5 years since she has had front teeth. It will be great for her though.
Alexye is also doing amazingly in school. Her reading has gotten so much better and she started to love doing her homework. Lex has come out of her shell a lot and has just taken right off and is no longer the shy little girl we all once knew. But with the great changes she has made and with her personality totally making a huge appearance so has her attitude. That little girl has her mommies attitude.. I know scary right. Sometimes its difficult to deal with but most the time it can be quite comical.She is so much fun to have around. She keeps us guessing as to what is going to come next. All her teachers have told us how sweet she is and that she is very eager to please and learn.I totally agree with them Lex is the sweetest little girl ever. She is growing up way too fast!
Angelyse is a little ball of energy. She just turned 3 on the 9th of Sept and she is so much fun to have around. he has the funnest personality and she is so mischevious. You can always tell she is up to something by her facial expressions. She is obsessed with Dora at the moment oh and babies. She carries our cat around like a baby and the poor things lets Angel just throw her around. She is very eager to let us know if her sisters are doing something they are not suppose to. We are hoping to get her into preschool soon. Oh her favorite thing to do right now is she will say I love you but then smile and say papa after when she is saying it to me and when I tell her no say mama she will then say I love you baby for Breklyn. She is such a nerd. (just like her papa)
Breklyn just turned 5 months today!! I know its crazy how fast she is growing. She is such a good baby. She normally just lays on the floor and rolls around. She is very stealthy. She holds her own bottle and she has started to get up on her hands and knees and she tries to crawl. She is so happy a lot of the time. She is always smiling and she laughs a lot. Especially when Matias scares her she will jump then just laugh. She still fits in some 0-3 month clothes. This is new to us since usually our babies are huge butterballs by now, she is definitely the only one to stay small so long. :)

We have been having so much fun lately, We have gone to our first demolition derby, we have been to a couple parades, we went to an air show, and we are always having a blast one way or another. We are very lucky to have such great family and friends!

Alexye and 4 nights of complete Chaos!

We had what I call the week of chaos. It all started when Matias was at work and I was playing cards with Kelsi and Brenden, Lex was in trouble for not listening, hitting, screaming, and basically having a complete melt down the night before. (night #1 as I call it) and had to go to bed early well she kept getting up to "go potty" well an hour later I swear she had "gone potty" about 15 times. So I called her in to tell her she needs to go to bed and I notice black all over her face... yes people for some odd reason (I think mainly she was mad at me so wanted to get back at me for being a mean mom) Alexye had gotten into my makeup. I guess I should consider myself lucky that this is the 1st time any of my girls have done this. She tried putting on mascara (hence the black on her face.) but not only did she try to put it on she decided it would be a good time to become an artist and used her bedroom walls (ad some clothes in her closet) as the canvas and my lipstick as her paintbrush.....oh the joy. My foundation and powder were dumped in drawers and my eyeshadow gone. So a that moment mommy wasn't happy at all, but surprisingly I kept my cool as much as I could. As I said before Matias was at work (lucky him) But we have awesome friends, Kelsi helped me clean up as Brenden looked up ways to get make up out of clothes. So that was night # 2 since night #1 was just her screaming, hitting, and not listening. Well on the next night we were having game night..well I shouldn't call it game night since we do it every night (LOVE IT!!) and I had made cookies and Again Alexye was going to bed early (for the whole make up thing) and I had put the cookies to cool down and we kept hearing noises in the kitchen (at this moment we though Lexye was asleep and I was rather excited that she was being so good by not coming out every 5 min) well Kelsi goes to get cookies and lo and behold there is like 5 missing cookies. I thought Angelyse took them but I decided to ask Alexye just in case. I have to totally give her credit because she looked my straight in the eye and said she didn't do it. I completely believed her til Sayge ran in and said there were cookie crumbs everywhere on Alexye's bed.  So basically Alexye was sneaking in the hallway and taking cookies. She is GOOD!! I was actually facing the hallway and didn't see her once. This may sound horrible but I am completely impressed with how good she can "go stealth" I was more mad that she lied to me than her taking the cookies. But of course I couldn't let her think it was ok so I talked to her about taking stuff that is not hers is called stealing. So even as hectic as it was Night #3 Not too bad. Well Night # 4 Matias was home and it was a typical night of fun, laughter and card games. I love my husband to death but the prior nights he kept saying Alexye would never do anything if he was home....if he only knew what was about to happen he would never have made that statement. So I thought the screaming an hitting and the makeup was bad well nothing can be compared to night # 4. I just have three words for you....purple nail polish... yeah. So Alexye was being pretty good at first and of course my dear sweet husband kept letting everyone know it was because he was home and she knows not to do anything. Well she then went "potty" and was in there for awhile and then we didn't hear from her. Matias decided to check on her and the next thing I know he brings her out with purple nail polish on her shirt. Lex decided to take nail polish and paint her toes, the walls, the bunk bed, and toys. (of course only Sayge and Angelyse's toys had the pleasure to be painted purple and Alexye's toys were spared during the attack) Of course my first action was to let rub it in to Matias that he was wrong. (yes I know my priorities were a little messed up but for those of you who know Matias and I really well you probably are not surprised by this.) Again, We have the greatest friends ever and thanks to Kelsi and Brenden the clean up job went pretty fast and we got all the nail polish off of everything except some clothes. (its a miracle they actually still hang out with us. lol) The sad part was is that I had told Alexye if she was really good that night then the next day I would paint her nails whatever color or how ever many colors she wanted. I guess she couldn't wait. I am happy to report that the next niht she was FANTASTIC and she hasn't gotten into anything since. While all this was happening I was not happy about it at all and I was so mad but now looking back it makes me laugh. Alexye is just like me. The funniest part of the week was when I sat down to talk to Alexye after all this and I told her that she not only looks exactly like me she also acts exactly like me, and she looked up at me with her big blue eyes and all innocently said, "So its your fault." I couldn't help it I laughed so hard. I seriously love that girl!! She always keeps things interesting. She is my sweet, loving, chaotic, bratty little girl, in other words like mother, like daughter. :)
